We are not given change, We are given opportunity.. To those who want it, there is something new and exciting waiting for you just over the horizon, however you have to get yourselves there first & that requires a little walking and a lot of work.. So Greet challenges with a smile! They will be around for a long while, as long as you are alive any way, so you may as well make friends.. There is a practice in this & it starts in beginning to realise where your comforts and complacencies lie.. "The seeing is the doing" for these habits, fears and limiting beliefs are what is blocking you from what it is that you seek. Noticing the blocks is the first step, dont drop your energy with negative self talk because of it, this is a win.. It is only ourselves who can be responsible for the choices we make, the tools we choose to pick up and the perspective we choose to take to any given situation. That is a good realisation.. Even better is realising that those choices you make not only affect you but everyone & everything around you.. As we know our energy creates our atmoshere and so.. it is "you" essentially who then puts the butterfly into effect.. People may see your way forward as not logical or even impossible. Dont let this sway you, If it is in alignment and intention is pure then despite what the mind & others may say, your heart and the body does not lie.. have courage, make the hard decisions because they feel right, check in with yourself, the heart always knows. So learn to breathe, keep a cool head, know yourself, trust your heart & choose love, choose understanding, choose peace, know where you are headed and remember why, this will be your anchor.. Embrace the change.. You are the hero you have been waiting for 🙏🏻 at Winston Park, South Africa

The early spring bloom is in full swing in central South Carolina! It's a bit early, but I'm excited! Late afternoon sun added nice warmth to these red maple blossoms. I don't do a lot of macros, but I couldn't resist. These are among my favorite spring blooms.

Rocky Creek Canyon is nothing short of a photographer's paradise and a location I have dreamt of visiting for a while. Although virtually on my doorstep, it was quite a journey getting here and wetsuit, dry bag and bike helmet isn't my usual photography attire. Reaching this section of the canyon with it's beautiful light beams was simply overwhelming and I didn't know which direction to point my camera. I would definately love to go back and spend more time exploring here! ___________________________ Canon 5D MkIV Canon 16-35 f/2.8 ___________________________ #amazing_shots #amazingausnz #australia_shotz #bestphotolandscape #bluemountainstrails #discover_earthpix #earth_shotz #explore_bluemountains #explorers_of_light #exploringaustralia #focusaustralia #ig_bluemountains #ig_discover_australia #ig_nature_naturally #ig_shotz_feb19 #lovebluemountains #master_gallery #ozscapers #picturetokeep_nature #splendid_earth #splendid_xposure #ss_2017 #weareexplorers #womencreating #wonderfuldestinations #wonderfulglobe #wondersofourplanet #worldbestshot #worldmastershotz_australia #wow_australia2019

I know you guys are probably sick of me posting, but this is my last one of the day, I promise! Please please please like this photo and the rest of the ones I’ve already posted today so that @natgeo will feature me on their story! Thanks guys! #natgeo100contest 🤞🙏 • Most people have learned about Pompeii in grade school, but it’s hard to really put how remarkable this site is into words unless you’ve seen it for yourself. The structures that remained after the eruption are huge and a substantial part of the city is still standing strong, meaning that in a full day of exploring it, I didn’t even get through half the city! The preservation of this city is incredible from an archaeological and historical standpoint; we have learned and can learn much more from this ancient Roman city that stood the test of time. The detail and precision that the Ancient Romans used in their architecture (like in this photo) was unmatched. We can only guess what life would have been like before Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, but it definitely appears as though the ancient city of Pompeii was a place of both prosperity and progress. at Pompeii

D E S E R T R O S E ———————————————————————— The White Sand National Monument in New Mexico is really exceptional! Square miles of untouched small dunes, beautiful desert roses and surprisingly few tourists. We had a funny moment at the entrance. As we arrived there the cashier woman yelled "it's for free today!!" I asked "eeehm ok... why"? And she screamed with angry eyes: "BECAUSE I SAID SO!!!" We laughed so hard...😂 The next day there was a Guy at the entrance and I said: "It's for free!!!" And he was like: "Ok..." and let us in😄———————————————————————— EXIF: ISO 50 <~> 28mm <~> f/11 <~> 1/25s — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - Sony α7R II - Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4 — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - Post in Lr / Ps - Filters from Nik Collection ***************************************************** #exploretheplanet #natgeoyourshot #all_perfect_shots #fantastic_universe #placestotravel_s #newmexicolove #whitesandsnationalmonument #pretty_shotz #globalcapture #nationalarkgeeks #aswediscover #naturehippys_ #earthescope #earthoutdoors #sombrescapes #lost_world_treasures #landscape_nightscape #weekly_feature #thebest_capture #worldtravelcaptures #yourshotphotographer #photocrowd #wayofwild #photooftheday #bestnatureshot #sonytribe #shootersonly #theimaged #bestphotolandscape #landscapephotomag at White Sands National Monument

Sooo blessed! Was mad relieved to have dry clothes and a dry sleeping bag that night 😅 greatful for the basic neccessities we tend to overlook like, shelter, food, nice dry clothes and good company 🙏🏻 at Drakensberg

Cape Earth (*Cape Chikyu) Location: Muroran Earth Cape / Nanae-cho / Hokkaido / Japan 北海道 / 室蘭市 / 室蘭地球岬 Cape Earth is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in the country where cliffs of about 100 meters line up and on the clear day it is possible to see the Pacific Ocean from the observation deck. It is a popular tourist spot representing Hokkaido such as No. 1 in "Hokkaido nature 100 selections", and on the first day, tourists from distant place are crowded not only in the local but also on the first day to worship the sunrise . It is also famous as the hive of the falcon. #ig_skysun #Lovers_Nippon #icu_japan #wu_japan #IGersJP #bestjapanpics #photo_jpn #japan_of_insta #unsquares #jp_gallery #japan_daytime_view #inspirationcultmag #japan_photo_now #photo_shorttrip #travellingthroughtheworld #deaf_b_j_ #gf_skies #photorupt #ig_skysun #goandcapturethelight #omsbijapan #love_bestjapan #bestphoto_japan #bestphotolandscape #landscapephotography #bestphotolandscape #sun_and_beach_sb #北海道旅行 #絶景delic #室蘭地球岬 SONY α7ⅡR / Vario-Tessar T* 24-70mmF2.8ZA *©PURE STYLE PHOTOGRAPHY. Today, @natgeo is hosting a photo competition to celebrate reaching 100 million followers! The winner gets a trip to Tanzania, courtesy of @natgeoexpeditions so if you are feeling generous, please like this photo and the rest of the ones I post today so I can have a better chance of winning, or even just being featured on their story! Thanks guys! #natgeo100contest 🤞🙏 • This is the beautiful Uluru/ Ayers Rock in the Australian outback. This massive rock is made out of sandstone and stands at 348 m (1,142 ft) high. Uluru is the aboriginal name for the rock, while Ayers Rock is what it later became known as when it was sighted by a surveyor and named after the then Chief Secretary of South Australia. In the past, tourists have often climbed this rock, but have also always been encouraged not to by the local Anahi people, as it has great spiritual significance for them. However, in 2017 the park board voted unanimously to prohibit climbing Uluru, most likely for both spiritual and environmental purposes. That ban will take effect in October this year. It is very important that we take time to recognize how our actions as tourists can affect the environment and the local life surrounding a place. at Uluru / Ayers Rock

Yes, I know I’ve posted this already, but this time I have a good excuse because I’m reposting to submit it to #natgeo100contest ! Even though I took this a while ago, it remains one of my personal favorite shots. I travelled to the high north again. On Senja, an island in Norway situated 300 north of the Arctic Circle, me and my band of brothers desired to experience the wonderful winter light of these latitudes, a real winter with lots of snow – and of course the alluring aurora borealis. At the same time, I was equipped with a drone for the first time and wanted to test my flying skills and the photographic potential of the bird’s eye view first hand. Several incidents, sometimes exhilarating and sometimes nerve-wrecking, made me think about geomagnetic storms during this trip. Back home I decided to dig deeper than Wikipedia and consult some experts. Here is exactly how the earth’s magnetosphere allows solar winds to paint the northern lights and why you should not fly a drone at Kp levels higher than 4. Read the whole story at my blog at www.paradise-found-photo.com. The complete link is in my bio.

Hakodate city night view / From Mount Yokotsudake Location: Mount Yokotsudake / Nanae-cho / Hokkaido / Japan 北海道 / 亀田郡七飯町 / 横津岳より見た函館市街裏夜景 (*函館山の奥には津軽海峡を挟んで下北半島が見えます) Hakodate Night view "Night view seen from opposite side" Generally it is common that the night view of Hakodate is seen from the mountaintop observation deck of Hakodateyama, but this is also said to be the back night view, which means you want the city including Hakodate mountain from the opposite direction.
