GUYS and GALS - I have an extension until mid MAY to raise the rest of my funds for 30 years of @bestbuddies with my dear friend @markjwylie. ♥️
Thank YOU SO MUCH to those who have already donated. To those who haven’t, please let me REMIND y’all the babies, weddings, charities, businesses and literally anything that I have supported when you have asked. THIS is a vVv important cause to me and would appreciate the same support, NOW-ish. Link is in my bio ☝🏼 Click away 📲 TYSM #bestbuddies#charity#dogood#fundraiser at Reno, Nevada
Volunesia: That moment when you forget you're volunteering to help change lives, because it's changing yours.
You all know I love best buddies! Everything about the program is amazing. I was honored and lucky to be part of another committee with the most spectacular humans. This year’s walk was the most successful ever in AZ. Love this team! 💜 You are all incredible 🙌 #squadgoals#bestbuddies#bbfw19
I literally downloaded “Repost for Instagram” and YouTubed how to use it JUST to repost this video.
This is too special. My heart just can’t take it.
It’s like the ending of Coco. I’ve watched it 1000 times and get choked up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 🎶Remember me...🎶🎶 ugh. EVERY. TIME. (I have a 2 yr old that watches this on repeat... don’t judge me)
But wait... .
You’ve seen the video now. Maybe you watched it twice. So what is the “nice” thing to do? Anybody? Anybody? 😏
The nice thing to do is Like 👍🏼this post. Maybe comment with some ❤️❤️❤️ and 😭😭😭 and move on to the next viral video about makeup contouring or a cat dancing.
But what is the KIND thing to do?
Yup. I hope you guessed it. Like 👍🏼 this post and show it to your kids. Show it to your athletes. Maybe they will be so moved to ask their school for a best buddy. If you work anywhere in a school district, or if you are a parent of a school-aged child, ask your administrators what it would take to start a “Best Buddies” program at your school.
I’ve been asked before ... “How do I help my kiddos that don’t have special needs have empathy and understanding for special needs kiddos?” This is how.
Oh yes, William and Tyrel are showing us how.
