Just a regular dude, eating plants 🌱 and making gains💪😎 Ok ok.... I had muscle prior to going #vegan 4 years ago but I’ve been able to pack on 15 lbs of muscle since starting a plant based diet. That’s roughly 3.5lbs of muscle per year. Might not seem like much but that’s a good rate for a natural athlete.
💪An experienced lifter can expect to gain anywhere from 3-5lbs of muscle per year, giving that they train smart and eat a well balanced diet.
💪Beginners can typically put on 10-25lbs of muscle in their first two years of training 😮 That’s crazy right?
So if you’ve been training for more than 5 years, expect to see slower but measurable progress in your journey to building muscle. Stay patient and be consistent. Keep your eye on the goal and always remember why you started in the first place. If you’re not seeing gains, then you may need to make changes to your training and/or nutrition program.
