With fitness, consistency is more important than intensity. If you make a habit out of doing just a little bit each day, slowly building up strength, endurance, and flexibility over time, your body (and brain) will begin to adapt. Before you know it, working out will just be part of who you are, what you do.
And you'll begin to think of yourself as strong, and that fuels you more as you begin to rethink who you are and what you're capable of.
But start by reframing your mind to expect results over the course of YEARS, not weeks or months.
Being strong is a marathon, not a sprint!
And don't put it off any longer. Start today. Go on a 10-minute walk, do 10 squats, try out that yoga gym, run up and down some steps, do 5 push-ups...whatever. Just do something.
And keep doing it.
