What have we been up to at Colostomy UK?
Monday 11 March was the first meeting of the Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, & Slough (WAMS) Stoma Support Group with over 30 people in attendance.Giovanni has been working with Liz at Wexham Hospital, to get this Support Group set up and it’s now up and running!

Thursday the 14th, Oliver attended Buzz Connects Curry night which raised funds for Colostomy UK with long-time supporter of the charity Abigail Brown. @abstress
Libby is continuing our work with Airports and attended the Accessibility Forum at @edinburghairport which was ‘very positive’ as well as a session at Heathrow accessibility forum ( HAAG) to discuss the Aviation Strategy 2050.
On Thursday 14th March Giovanni and new Volunteers' Manager Emma attended the Association of Stoma Care Nurses (ASCN) national area representatives meeting in #Birmingham. They gave a presentation covering all of the work that Colostomy UK are doing and how we can work in partnership with Healthcare professionals.
The fantastic Chris Morrison @firfighter_with_a_stoma was on BBC Radio Foyle on thursday (with a brief appearance by Oliver) talking about life with a #stoma. You can listen on Iplayer on the following link:
