It was our first premier business class flight on @AirNZ from @ChangiAirport to @aucklandairport earlier this week and I ate so much during the 9 1/2 hour flight ✈️. Maybe too much. NZ 281 leaves Singapore at 850am and serves up breakfast shortly after take off. I had fresh fruit salad with fruit yoghurt and Vogel’s Cafe Style Luxury Muesli with fresh milk. For the hot dish, I ordered a wok fried egg noodles and vegetables with chicken wonton, char sui chicken pastry, squid ball and Teochew vegetable dumpling. Few hours later the flight attendants pushed out a trolley of club sandwiches 🥪. There was a Tandoori chicken with cucumber yoghurt, egg mayonnaise with chives and tomato and Ham & Swiss Cheese with Dijon mustard. I was too full for any of the cakes - Spiced mango mousse, fruit tartlets, red velvet cake. Around two hours before landing in Auckland, dinner was served. I picked the delicious seared Ahi tuna with sesame, radish, Japanese pickles with coconut jelly and Kaffir like. Had some garlic bread and picked the Chinese style grouper with Nonya sauce, savoury rice 🍚 with sausage, mushroom, kai lan, spring onion and edamame. The last thing I ate onboard was the orange brûlée tart with chocolate and water crackers.
