Below are my five absolute necessities to a healthy and happy life. What are yours?
1️⃣ Service to others — give, share, teach, or help other people. Even if you are completely self-interested, the truth is service is the key to happiness and fulfillment.
2️⃣ Personal growth — not to be confused with lack of contentment, growth means always remaining curious and feeding your inner student. Rest in assuredness on your path, but be hungry for more.
3️⃣ Loving relationships — you can obtain all the posessions, realize all your ambitions, and leave a major legacy, but if you have no deep personal and emotional connections to others, you will feel empty.
4️⃣ Devotion to something greater than yourself — when things inevitably get difficult, we need a guiding force that feels unshakeable to lean into. Make your service or your effort an offering, and you will find unlimited stamina.
5️⃣ Movement — to step into complete presence, embody your physical form. Breathe and move energy through the body. This is the easiest way to overcome attachment to the past or anxiety over the future.
