👑The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself. Just do it, do whatever makes you happy so long as you aren't hurting anybody. Dye your hair orange if you want to (but don't let your wamboe mom see you, coz she'll conclude you're officially doing drugs🤣 yes coz my mom) ef what everybody else will think, do you, because at the end of the day you only have yourself. 💫 @naturalhairnamibia #LucieKing #YourFavoriteKwanyamaGirl #TheVillageRaisedMeButTheCityEducatedMe

👑Have you ever been to a place you're supposed to love, but all you can think about is home?? Because me 😏 ●I felt a pang -- a strange and inexplicable pang that I had never felt before. It was homesickness. Now, even more than I had earlier when I'd first glimpsed it, I longed to be in that quiet little village, to walk up the path, to sit down by the fireplace, to wrap my arms around myself, and just stare at the clear sky 💫 #5yearsLater #LucieKing #TinyButMight #MbweteTheLivingTestimony #TheVillageRaisedMeButTheCityEducatedMe at Okamanya, Ohangwena, Namibia

👑Each day is born with a sunrise and ends in a sunset, the same way we open our eyes to see the light, and close them to hear the dark. You have no control over how your story begins or ends. But by now, you should know that all things have an ending. Every spark returns to darkness. Every sound returns to silence. And every flower returns to sleep with the earth. The journey of the sun and moon is predictable. But yours, is your ultimate ART.💫 #LucieKing #TheVillageRaisedMeButTheCityEducatedMe #TinyButMight #MbweteTheLivingTestimony at Okamanya, Ohangwena, Namibia

👑As a young girl growing up in the northern part of Namibia, most of what I knew of the world was what I could see around me. But each night, I would look at the Moon - it was impossibly far away, yet it held a special attraction because it allowed me to dream beyond my village and country, and think about the rest of the world and space.💫 #LucieKing #TheVillageRaisedMeButTheCityEducatedMe #TinyButMight #MbweteTheLivingTestimony

👑I grew up as a very sarcastic person. I was always the class clown, I had to be really funny. From as far back as I can remember, I was always insecure about my looks, whether it was my flat chest, my eyes, or my skinny legs, I was so thin, I had to run around in the shower to get wet. I hold on tight to the nearest pole when a strong wind comes. Yeah that kind of thin, well I still am, but it don't bother me nomore. I looked like a grade 5 kid in grade 12😂. There was this guy in my class who would lift me up anywhere and everywhere, it was so embarrassing. So I always had to rely on humor and sarcasm to escape reality baby. Okay bye💫 #LegsToTheWind #LucieKing #TheVillageRaisedMeButTheCityEducatedMe #TinyButMighty #Mbwete_TheLivingTestimony #LifeOaKwanyamaGirl
