πŸ“·: @simonlachapelle "A cold winter day at Port of Montreal. It can be cold in Canada... really cold. This one was shot on a very freezing day. The good news was it was so cold outside that everyone was inside and we had the port for ourselves! I took this one at 16mm so I could correct the perspectives in Lightroom to makes lines perfectly straight." | #SonyAlpha a7R III | 16-35mm f/4 | f/5.6 | 1/250 sec | ISO 320 | #BeAlpha at Montreal, Quebec

Reflections on Eibsee courtesy of photographer @_alexanderwieck "The photo was taken a few weeks ago when the snow in the valley had started melting and the highest mountains still have their snow-covered peaks. It shows Eibsee, a small lake at the foot of the Zugspitze (in Germany) at sunrise. As a small tip, I recommend that getting up early compensates in most cases for all strains."ο»Ώ | a6000 | 16mm f1.4 | f5 | 1/125 | ISO 100 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at Eibsee, Bayern, Germany

Lookin’ up with photographer @coreycaptures 😏 "I took this image in Chicago while walking around the city with a few of my friends. Sometimes the best photos are not the ones at eye level, but rather above or below you, especially within large cities. I am constantly looking for symmetry and where light is hitting -- When I looked up and saw the golden light hitting the side of the tower, I ran out into the middle of the intersection, aimed my camera straight up, and snapped a few images. I did this a couple of times in between traffic until I ended up with this image, which I was very happy with." | a7 III | 16-35mm f/2.8 GM | 16mm | f/8 | 1/250 | ISO 160 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at Chicago, Illinois

πŸ“·: @calibreus "Would you believe me if I told you that this reflection was created by a puddle that was less than a couple feet in length? It’s amazing what kind of perspectives you can get when you get low to a small body of water. Puddles generally produce stunning reflections due to the fact they aren’t affected by wind anywhere near as much as lakes or ponds are. Next time you’re out photographing a scene, look for puddles and try putting your camera really close to the water and see what you get. You may be surprised by just how big of an impact a puddle can have on a scene.” | #SonyAlpha a7 | 28mm f/3.5 | f/8 | 1/500s | ISO 100 | #BeAlpha at Clayoquot Plateau Provincial Park

The insanely colorful California Poppies in full bloom captured by photographer @ccr_out_of_here πŸ‘‰πŸ½ "This photo was taken near Lake Elsinore in Walker Canyon early in the morning. If you get there before sunrise, you can beat traffic and hopefully get a good chance to see the poppies without the crowds. If you're are planning on hiking or catching the poppies before they are off-season, please respect nature and stay on the path so we can enjoy the poppies for years to come."ο»Ώ | a7 III | 16-35mm f 2.8 GM | f4 | 1/160 | ISO 640 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at Lake Elsinore, California

πŸ“·: @benmurphy.photography "With the arrival of Spring, tulips around the world have begun to bloom. Changing the height at which you compose an image, as well as the lens focal length you choose, can have a huge impact in how your image will turn out. When shooting very low to the ground and selecting a wide angle focal length, rows of tulips in the field can turn into a dramatic scene, where a forest of tulips now tower overhead." | a7R III | 16-35mm f2.8 GM | f10 | 16mm | ISO 100 | 5 shot bracket: 1/50, 1/6, 1.3s, 10s, 30s | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

πŸ“·: @johnnyv_imagery "One of the many amazing features that make The Big Island of Hawaii unique is the number of different environments and ecosystems that exist. It is mind-boggling to be able to night dive with mantas, drive across great plains, bask in the midst of lush jungle waterfalls, and breathe thin air while watching lava glow below a psychedelic Milky Way. I always come back with stunning images matched with life-shaping experiences. Nighttime views of SF captured by #AlphaCollective member @andreweggers πŸ‘‰πŸ½ "The city of San Francisco is filled with great views and the view from Twin Peaks is a prime example. This shot was taken using the 100-400mm GM lens, so I was able to compose the famous Market Street with the Ferry Building at the end, along with the City’s tallest building, the Salesforce Tower. This spot is a must for those visiting the city and locals alike -- I hope you enjoy!ο»Ώ"ο»Ώ | a7R III | 100-400mm GM | 276mm | f16 | 8 sec | ISO 320 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at San Francisco, California
