(🇹🇭 first comment) @juvaskincareusa is an up-and-coming (and very aesthetically pleasing) skincare brand from Taiwan. All of their products contain Fullerene, which is super powerful antioxidant: they claim its a whopping 172 times more effective than vitamin C! 😱 These were the products I got to try out: . Brightening Enhancer*: This one is sort of like a mist, where you use it to prep your skin to enhance absorption of subsequent skincare products. Its a very fine mist which I love, and it absorbs into the skin real fast to soothe and calm it. It leaves the skin slightly tacky at first, but it dries out completely in seconds, leaving the skin nourished and hydrated. . Brightening Essence*: These are concentrated serums which come in capsulated vials. They’re designed to combat aging, and promote radiance to the skin. I love the consistency of this - its slightly viscous but still considered light, and it sinks in immediately after application. This leaves my skin looking healthier and brighter! . Brightening Lotion*: This works very effectively as a day cream cause it provides long-lasting hydration and also controls oil production. The light consistency makes it perfect for hot and humid climates. . Brightening Facial Jelly*: This is my favourite from the bunch. It’s a 5-minute mask that comes in jelly form to help the skin fight off free radicals. It gives a cooling effect on the skin, and is so comfortable and relaxing to have on. . They’re launching in Thailand soon, so keep an eye out! . *gifted products but opinions are 100% my own at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) The @bioeffectofficial Cellular Activating Serum is one of the very few serums that I’ve noticed immediate results from the very first use. . The serum is targetted to renew and restore the skin, reduce wrinkles and maximise radiance. Its formulated with the Epidermal Growth Factor that boosts cell regeneration, slows aging processes, and just worked to improve the overall health of the skin. . I apply a couple of drops of this all over my face at night as my first serum, and follow with the MZ Skin Rest&Revive to really give it that nutritous boost. Its got a clear but slightly oily consistency, and I find that pressing motions really help to push the serum deep into the skin. . The most significant result with my experience was that my face feels noticeably softer in the morning, and its really made a difference with skin texture over time. Its also a great cell regeneration boost - I feel like it gives me new skin that is smoother and more refined! . 👍🏼: 4.5/5 💸: 3.5/5 👩🏻: all skin types 📍: @xtrastrong_beauty at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) Look how cute the packaging for these @skinfirstofficial products are! They’re a new up-and-coming Thai brand, and the products I got to try turned out to be very decent. . Let’s start with the So Honey Cleansing Jelly*, a super gentle gel cleanser that’s made from honey, chamomile extract and yoghurt. It’s designed to gently cleanse the skin, keep it hydrated and also soothe and tighten it. What I love most about this product is the smell: guys I kid you not, it feels like you’re washing your face with honey (in a good way, of course). It does get rid of the excess dirt and grime, but I would use this as a second cleanse after make-up removal. It works great with my @foreo_th, although it doesn’t lather up as much as other foaming-type cleansers. My skin feels clean and soft after, and the cleansing experience is truly unique with the heavenly scent! . Up next is the So Hydrating Moisturing Jelly*, a serum-type moisturiser with rose water, chamomile extract and squalene oil. I’m gonna call this a serum, cause it feels like one: the serum hydrates without clogging pores, revitalises the skin and calms it. It’s also got algae extracts which helps with brightening. A few pumps of this would easily cover the face, and it sinks in pretty well. The hydration it gives is sufficient for my dry skin, and it lasts throughout the day/night. . The scents of both products are very strong, which got me feeling sceptical at first. After a couple of weeks use, both of them worked really well and the fragrance did not irritate my skin at all – they just made the application experience very joyous! . 📍: @skinfirstofficial *gifted products but opinions are 100% mine at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) I love to layer my serums and oils, so I’ve been hunting for a light (but hydrating) night cream for the longest time. I think I’ve found it guys - it’s the Night cream from @hyacellthailandofficial, which is actually a very underrated Swiss brand. . The Night cream is packed with Coenzyme Q10, peptides, HA and vitamins B C and E, you know, all the good stuff. It nourishes and hydrates and does all the stuff that a rich night cream would do, but it has a light, almost emulsion-like consistency which makes it the perfect night cream for avid skincare junkies like me who love to layer on a lot of serums and oils. . I know there’s a debate whether you should use oils before or after creams, but I’ve always opted to use my night cream as the last step of my routine. I love the fact that this sits very nicely on top of my oils and gives me the hydration that my dry skin needs without pilling like some rich creams do. The hydration also lasts throughout the night, so the light consistency is not something you should be afraid of at all - I’m thinking this would also work wonders on oily skin. . My face feels soft and supple the morning after, and I love the fact that it allows me to layer up to 5-6 products before finishing up with this on top! . 👍🏼: 4/5 💸: 3.5/5 👩🏻: all skin types 📍: @hyacellthailandofficial at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) How cute are these Murumuru body care products from @lovebeautyandplanet ? I got my hands on 4 of their Butter & Rose products, and they smell amazing! . The Murumuru Shampoo and Conditioner are made from naturally sourced ingredients like murumuru butter to help soften dry, coarse hair, Bulgarian rose to give it the delicious floral scent, and organic coconut oil to smooth the hair and give it a shine. They’re dyes, silicones, parabens, and sulfate-free, so they cleanse and nourish without stripping the hair from its natural oils. Both products are also suitable for colour treated hair, and works to prolong the colour. . The Body Wash and Body Lotion come in the same scent and hav a very similar ingredient list to their hair care products. The body care products are perfect for dry skin as the murumuru butter and coconut oil hydrates and softens the skin. The scent also lingers for ages! at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) I was recently introduced to the Australian based skincare brand @bayecoskincare , and I’m really liking their products. The packaging is aesthetically pleasing and the products work really well on my skin. . Green Tea Foaming Cleanser*: This one’s my favourite from the bunch. Their cleanser has a gel consistency with camellia oil, cucumber fruit extract and green tea that helps hydrate the skin while removing makeup and other impurities. I’ve tried this with the @foreo and it lathers up really well and leaves my skin squeaky clean. It’s also gentle enough to be used as a morning cleanser cause its sulfate-free. . Green Tea Correcting Eye Cream*: Their eye cream combines Persian silk tree, avocado oil and argan oil with peptides to combat puffiness, dark circles and smooth out fine lines. It’s quite light with a balm-like consistency, and you only need a teensy little bit to cover the eye area. I think it’s a bit too early to see significant results, but for now it’s done a really good job with keeping my under eye area hydrated and its really kept my concealer from creasing during the day. . Green Tea Multi Action Serum*: From the ingredient list, I think their serum focuses on hydration, skin texture and also environmental damage. They’ve included Genencare OSMS (their secret signature ingredient) to supercharge the skin with hydration, peptides to repair damaged cells and smooth the skin, and CoQ10 which is a rich antioxidant. The consistency is comparable to the Drunk Elephant B-Hydra, and I think the hydration it gives is very similar to the DE! . Overall, I’ve really been enjoying their products. They’re quite a new brand so their product selection isn’t very extensive, but I would recommend them to everyone! . . 📍: @wouldyouloveit @l.e.r.t.beautystore *gifted products at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) My New Year resolutions have got me working out almost everyday these days, and I’ve been doing daily hair washes (urgh). The @evolvebeautyuk Superfood Shine Natural Shampoo has been great for these daily washes, cause it gently cleanses the hair without stripping it of natural oils. . Its formulated with natural ingredients like proteins from the Baobab tree, pomegranate extract and aloe vera. Its shine-boosting and softness-boosting, and it protects the hair from UV stress and heat. . I’ve been doing one wash of the Superfood Shine Natural Shampoo, following with the @brisuthi.th Morrocan Argan Oil Treatment shampoo instead of conditioner, and the @sachajuan Leave In Conditioner. . I think it smells like orange yoghurt (which is really nice), and it thoroughly cleanses and leaves my hair super soft but doesn’t weigh it down - lovely product! . . 👍🏼: 4/5 💸: 4/5 👩🏻: all hair types 📍: @xtrastrong_beauty at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) The @theouai perfumes are so photogenic! I gotta admit, I got them solely because of the packaging. I adore the scent of their hair products, but I didn’t expect for them to smell this so amazing in perfume form, so it was a lovely surprise. I intended to get all 4 scents (cause price-wise they’re pretty good value for money!), but Cult Beauty only had these 3 in stock.😭 Anyway, I’ll try my best to describe all 3 scents: . Rue St. Honore: violet, gardenia, ylang ylang and white musk Out if the 3, I think this one smells the most sophisticated. Its a cross between musky, floral and herbaceous, and its the least sweet. It smells like their original hair oil, and I would say something suitable for someone who is into niche perfumes (like me!). . . Mercer street: Italian lemon, Turkish rose, Jasmine sambac, iris, lily and white musk. This one screams floral to me, but not in an overpowering way. Its a fresh and very feminine scent (like their shampoos), and its very universal so you can’t really hate it but its not something that would be my top pick. . . Melrose Place: bergamot, lychee, cedarwood and white musk. Melrose Place is my favourite, cause it smells exactly like the Rose Hair & Body oil. Its fruity and fresh and fun and very girly. It has a hint of rosiness that is not too obvious, which I absolutely love! . . I’m definitely gonna add North Bondi to my collection - well done @theouai. And I really urge you to sell these in Thailand since we already love your hair products! 😘 at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) I’ve had the @lixirskin Electrogel Cleanser a while, and its pretty decent if you ask me. Its a cleanser-mask double threat, and it gets rid of dirt and oil without stripping the skin. . The clever thing about this cleanser is that it contains negatively charged particles that attract positively charged toxins like a magnet, and removes said toxins from the skin. Its got a creamy texture that feels really nice on the skin, more like a hydrating mask. . I’ve been using this as a second cleanse at night, leaving it on for 1-2 minutes before rinsing. It doesn’t really lather up that much, if at all, but my face does feel really clean after. I don’t think it works so well with my Foreo, so I’ve just been using my hands to wash my face with this. . The best thing about this is that it doesn’t dry out my face at all - I think it even makes my face feel softer and more hydrated. The only downsides for me (cause I’m a sucker for that squeaky clean feeling) would be that its a tiny bit too gentle so I can only use this on days where I don’t have a lot of makeup on, and the fact that it doesn’t really lather up. Other than that, this would make a great cleanser especially for anyone with dry skin! . 👍🏼: 3.5/5 💸: 4/5 👩🏻: dry skin 📍: @beautycrazeshop at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) I think @mellownaturals is secretly becoming one of my favourite Thai skincare brands. 🤭 I had the chance to try their range of new serums and these two were my favourites. . The Hydration Drops* is a hydrating serum with argan, rosehip and strawberry oils. It comes in a clear, light but oily consistency that is super easy to blend in, and it sinks in really fast for an oil. I’ve really put it to test in cold and dry weather when I was in Japan, and its truly been a saviour. It kept my skin hydrated, soft and supple all throughout the trip without any dry patches. 😋 . The Vit C Natural Glow Face Serum* is a brightening serum with Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate which is a stable and non-irritating form of vitamin C, niacinamide, tangerine peel extract and jojoba oil. Again, its got a light-ish consistency that absorbs pretty well. The brightening (and whitening) effect of this was quite noticeable: my skin looks more radiant and healthy, and I believe my skin has become brighter and whiter (although I hate using this word) after using this. . I think both of these would make great additions to your routines, and they’re safe to use if you have sensitive skin! . *gifted products 📍: @mellownaturals (you can also use my discount code ‘scentsandserums’ for 10% off online purchases!) at Bangkok, Thailand

(🇹🇭 first comment) The @tatcha Silken Pore Perfecting sunscreen has been one of my go-to sunscreens throughout 2018, cause its light and airy and sits really nicely on the skin. . Its got a beautiful ingredient list with silk extract leaves to smooth the skin, Japanese wild rose to tighten pores, loquat leaf extract which is an antioxidant and zinc oxide which gives it the SPF 35 protection. . The consistency is super lightweight, and it doesn’t leave a noticeable white cast. I feel its got a slightly silicony texture so it works great as a primer for makeup, but also works well on its own to give the skin a smoother finish. The protection is fairly solid with SPF 35 PA +++, with UVA and UVB protection. . The only improvement for this, I think, would be that the SPF could be a teensy bit higher given the amount of sun we get in Thailand. Nevertheless, this would make for an awesome everyday sunscreen. . 👍🏼: 4/5 💸: 3.5/5 👩🏻: for everyone 📍: I got mine from @theofficialjoycebeauty in HK, but if you’re in Thailand @beautycrazeshop stocks some Tatcha products at Bangkok, Thailand
