So..... This is happening right now! (at midnight) 🐣 Y'all I just had the scare of my life! I was doing a before bed check, noticed the humidity was a little low so I decided to add more water to get through the night without any issues. Added the water through the port on the side, was checking the readings again when all of a sudden the incubator shut off! 🐣 I reached out to several other quail keepers, @quailtalecovey @saltyquailfarm @wendyalexis78 @alchemistfarm for help/ideas/suggestions. I even called Tricia at Quail Tale Covey. While she and I were chatting about options, the incubator started up again! The hum of that motor was like sweet music! Such a wonderful IG community! Y'all are all wonderful! 😍 🐣 So... I'll be like a kid on Christmas Eve, and probably not sleep a wink tonight! I've been asked to speak at a local garden club on Thursday. We've known each other for 35 years, and in June we will celebrate 30 years of marriage. I treasure each and every moment we've shared, and I look forward to many more years ahead. He wooed me when we dated, singing his way into my heart, and in his best French accent saying, "Let me take you to the kasbah!" Lo and behold, he really did take me to the kasbah when we lived in Tunisia! 🐪💕 His military career provided us a unique life for our family, living all around the US, and 4 foreign assignments. But the best place is where we are now, watching our dream of raising beef cattle come to life. .
