What creates organic enthusiasm within you? That feeling/emotion that erupts an overwhelming force of ultra joy and psyche to be alive...that pure, sweet passion (why ration passion)...one of the most powerful I know of is friends+adventure+remote/wild/nature+big/granite/mountains+arctic magic+mystery (without mystery there is no adventure)...this photo/memory of immaculate joy came to be because of an immense synergy of such passions...the very first time I ever talked to @ladzinski was on the phone...we talked for at least an hour (like old friends that had never met, you know what I mean?) about an adventure to Greenland where we met in person for the first time (in Iceland enroute)...within days of meeting each other Keith Ladzinski was in the icy ocean with me doing what he does best: making some of the most beautiful images in the world (and always making those around him laugh/smile), his energy is top-notch...we are heading to Greenland again soon with the dream team/dear friends @andy_mann and @ethan_pringle with some big, steep goals, lots of laughter, blood/sweat/tears and intense emotion ahead...it's an honor and privilege to be with this crew...more to come...photo @ladzinski#joyineering#dellrugged . . . . .
Remembering and reminiscing on this Memorial Day...my grandfather Harold served proudly...before that he found his way to Yosemite and raised our family near the Sierra Nevada...thinking about you Grandpa Harold, Grandma Bertha and Uncle Sheldon (all pictured here). Never forgotten and your energy is always with us truly...to all of those that served and passed before us, thank you, your energy lives on! @bellalibecki

Oh John Muir!!! Did you know today is the 125th anniversary of The Sierra Club? Do you know this skyline/view? I think you do, glorious Half Dome on an alpine start (4:45 a.m.) just before sunrise. I took this photo last week with my dad @mikelibecki as we embraced our Mother Earth's miraculousness once again in Yosemite. Do you know of John Muir, one of the most prominent conservationists/environmentalist/awesome humans ever to live? If not please start reading about him and his important messages/actions, which are more important than ever right now. He once looked upon this same view, one of the reasons he stood for the preservation of Yosemite and so many other places. And he founded The Sierra Club 125 years ago today! The Sierra Club is one of our most powerful teams of tens of thousands of people protecting our planet. Please read more about The Sierra Club and John Muir and get inspired to be the change you want to see! And if you have not seen this view from Glacier Point in person, make sure to put it on your list, just wow! Here's to the @sierraclub and 125 years of fighting for our planet! Thank you John Muir!

Organic, it's a word/topic/way of life that is and should be one of our main focuses and absolute top priorities in every way...when did humans decide to combine real, natural foods with fake food? When did these fucking lame humans decide to start mixing/desecrating our food/water/planet with toxic chemicals? All for profit and power at the expense of what should be our absolute first priority: healthy, natural living for our Mother Earth and all her children...huge fucking sigh. Behold the beautiful small village of Hakahau in the Marquesas Islands...they only farm organically, drink water from the sky (no springs and it rains A LOT) and they catch fresh fish daily as they need it...the world can learn a lot from the Marquesas/Marquesan people here... This photo was taken high up in virgin Earth in one of the most beautiful places I have been honored/privileged to explore and embrace... And the massive rock towers here, WOW, stay tuned for more... #joyineering

Climbers! Public Service Announcement! The 'Cordelette' is now officially the 'Dad-elette' (or 'Mom-elette' too?) as I was recently informed on a grand adventure, by the super-quality-dude @cheynelempe, with the quote, "That is a sweet dad anchor..." Haha! Love it. Old dog new tricks? Can't wait for the next my friend...photo: Dad-elette sample a couple years ago...

Dear Grandmother Sun and Mother Earth, embracing your last glorious Light of the day among your magnificent masterpiece Giants is an honor and privilege...thank you Universe for humbling me once again and the reminder that we are all soft, fragile humans surrounded by your miracles for such a short time...recent exploration of new terrain in the Marquesas...
#banffmountainfilmfestival changed my life when I went for the first time in 2002 and has ever since...inspiring so many people around the world through the best outdoor films of magic, power and beauty to get into nature, find adventure, embrace our global community and care about our planet...great times, amazing people and huge honor to join some of the world tour in Europe...see you at the #banffmountainfilmfestival next fall for more...if you have not been to the festival or one of the tour stops, you should check into it... #banffcentre#banffnationalpark#banff#explorealberta
