Yesterday, @nytimes recommended the city of Aalborg as one of the top travel destinations of 2019. We are eager to contribute to making Aalborg an even more worthwhile city visit. Historically Aalborg is called “the city of smoking chimneys”, with traditional heavy industry has gradually been replaced by modern knowledge and cultural industries. One of these areas, “Spritten”, a post-industrial area is undergoing transformation towards a diverse cultural neighbourhood. In collaboration with local contractor A. Enggaard we are looking very much forward to start up a housing project in Aalborg as part of the development of the old distillery site in 2019. The urban development is built upon a strong industrial heritage from the times when the Danish distillery company called “De Danske Spritfabrikker” had their factories running on the site. We are looking much forward to contribute to @henninglarsenarchitects masterplan and to build along @big_builds @lethgori @studiotomassaraceno . . . . #enggaard #aenggaard #spritten #aalborg #jylland #limfjorden #danmark #nytimes #transformation #postindustrial #danisharchitecture #danishdesign #nordicarchitecture #architecture #urbanplanning #artcentrer #cloudcity #schaumannordgren #SNArchitecture #sna
