I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we’re talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime “associates,” food, for me, has always been an adventure. ⛓ (Anthony Bourdain) ⛓ Not gonna lie, Anthony Bourdain’s death has thrown me for a loop: he was a person who crossed borders and boundaries and got people to tell their stories in a genuine way, often using food as the starting point to get the conversation started ⛓ Deep thoughts (and an important reminder) for the start of the work week: Instagram is a curated version of a person’s life. It doesn’t tell the full story. Even though it appears that someone is living an adventurous and amazing life that touches so many in a positive way, it doesn’t necessarily tell the full story of that person.     Great words to go with this shot, Reese. His death shocked me more than I would have expected too. I still find it hard to accept or believe. Watched the Remembering show on CNN last night. Gone too soon for sure.

    Very true Reese. No one never really knows another person's pain or the burden they carry with them. It affects everyone that person knows as it is hard for the family and friends left behind 😢 Social media can help spread the message but it can also mask the truth and make everyone's life seem happy and perfect.
