I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we’re talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime “associates,” food, for me, has always been an adventure. ⛓ (Anthony Bourdain) ⛓ Not gonna lie, Anthony Bourdain’s death has thrown me for a loop: he was a person who crossed borders and boundaries and got people to tell their stories in a genuine way, often using food as the starting point to get the conversation started ⛓ Deep thoughts (and an important reminder) for the start of the work week: Instagram is a curated version of a person’s life. It doesn’t tell the full story. Even though it appears that someone is living an adventurous and amazing life that touches so many in a positive way, it doesn’t necessarily tell the full story of that person. I think that’s something that is all too easy to forget when we look at a person’s feed: what’s being presented is still an edited and curated version of that person’s story - not the Whole story. ⛓ ⛓ #depthoffield #framing #composition #lovetoronto #getolympus #CreateExplore #olympusinspired #getolympus #summerintoronto #torontophoto #exploreyourcity #visualsoflife #creativeoptic #dailyhivetoronto #theuniversalart #bravogreatphoto #ourclickdays #lightroommasters #visual_architects #torontolove #yyzishome #theimaged #grammercollective #blogTO #wandering #itswhatido
