Flamenküches and mulled wine... one of my Winter favourite! ⛸🛷❄ Flamenküches: French baguette, heavy fresh cream, then onions, lardons (bacon cubes), pepper, all spices, gruyère. Impingement oven and grill 220°, 10 minutes.
Mulled wine: well that's tricky for me to advise about the choice of wine because I'm in France and we have so many French wines. I usually use 'Vin de Pays'*, good red wine yet not expensive ,between 3 and 5 euros -in French supermarkets- , add water -fill the bottle of wine with water-, I use 2 bottles of wine for 6/8 persons and fill one with water twice.
A pinch of pepper. All spices. Cinnamon powder. Vanilla powder. 2 or 3 cardamom seeds. 2 stars of Badian. 2 or 3 cloves. 3 soup spoons of brown sugar 2 soup spoons of honey. 1 orange. 1/2 lemon (I use 1 lemon for 2 bottles). Voilà 😀 *The French Vin de pays classification is used for French table wines produced in a particular area and meeting certain standards of quality, such as geographic origin, yield, alcohol value, superior to vin de table.
