This girl is bad at surfing. You can tell she’s bad at surfing by the way she is. Also, by her giant Daddy board. 🏄🏽‍♀️ at Seaside, Oregon

“If you doubt yourself, then indeed you stand on shaky ground.” -Henrik Ibsen 🍂 A couple of years ago I would have never posted a photo of my naked face in the dead of winter. But shoooooot who has time to worry about that? Besides, being naked is fun. at Burrard Bridge

Watching these deadlines creep up on me like... 🍂 With the current chaos of school my own writing has been taking the back burner, but I have a few projects that I’m still very excited about! Stay tuned 😌 at Lynn Canyon Park

“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.” - J.R.R. Tolkien - at Cape Kiwanda Beach

“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colours...Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.” - Terry Pratchet- Court and I were often met with, “Awe, you’re so lucky!” when we told people we met while traveling that we were from Vancouver. While I already miss the beauty of Oregon’s coast, it feels good to be back with fresh appreciation for my own beautiful coastal city 🧡 at Oregon

“Some people hate things until they’re given a reason to love them. I love them until given a reason not to. I love so many things, it’s so much more fun.” - @court.hemmerling 🌙 Spent some time discovering the Oregon coast with my favourite She-wolf. It was a week full of hikes and surf, coffee and sunsets, and of course, feminist rants and (terrible) free-styling. Felt good to roam again 😌 at Cannon Beach, Oregon

“The minds is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven” -John Milton- 🍂 Prof said our Valentine’s Day gift is that we get to begin studying Paradise Lost and honestly, that’s good enough for me 🧡 at Vancouver, British Columbia

“I want to think again of dangerous and noble things. I want to be light and frolicsome. I want to be improbable, beautiful, and afraid of nothing, as though I had wings.” -Mary Oliver- 🍂 Happy Tuesday! Hope you had a reason to smile a full-tooth, squinty eyed smile today 🧡 📷: @alexjiggs at Lynn Valley, North Vancouver

“Sunday is the golden clasp that binds together the volume of the week.” -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow- 🌿 Rocking some new specs from @pixeleyewear 😌 As a writer, student, and all around piece-of-trash-millennial, I tend to spend a lot of time looking at a screen. These glasses filter out blue light and eliminate glare to prevent eye strain and headaches! Protect yo eyes kids 🤓 #ad at Vancouver, British Columbia

“I’m all in favour of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let’s start with typewriters.” -David Gerrold- ✨ There’s many things that need to be said, but also many ways to say them. Be kind. at Vancouver, British Columbia

✨ Only when we can stand forehead to forehead with the darkest parts of each other, and lie nose to nose with the most fragile parts of ourselves... then, and only then, will we see change. KM A little late to the #bellletstalk party but let’s remember that the conversation about mental illness should last longer than a day. We’ve all got dark and fragile parts, and it breaks me how many people feel alone. It’s one of those topics I actually feel at a loss of words for, except to say: I’m here. I’m here. I’m here. at Vancouver, British Columbia

🌿 There’s one problem with having such adventurous and brave friends, and that is that it usually means a lot more goodbyes. Not really sure how to deal with this goodbye yet. Maren, my favourite little Aussie, when I carpooled with you over a year ago I never expected to meet a best friend, and role model. You remember things I don’t even remember telling you, you ask the right questions at the right time, and you make people feel like the best version of themselves. I can’t wait to see all you accomplish, Vancouver will be waiting for you 🧡 at Sunshine Coast, Beautiful BC
