Kebabs have been my true friends through out my weight loss journey. And now when in Delhi you get them almost everywhere in every street. This is from Pishori Zayka at Janakpuri. The prices were very reasonable and taste was good. . . @foodklicks . . . . . . #kebabs #kababs #delhi #food #streetfood #delhigram #whatdelhieats #chicken #mutton #meat #janakpuri #saadidilli #eatfit #guiltfree #fit #getfit #foodlover #foodie #foodiesofdelhi #instafood #myfood #foodies at Pishori Zaika

‘Emotional eating’. The thing is though - when it comes to body composition, no matter what process you choose and how you execute it, any change which occurs is the result of science (thermodynamics). Whilst we cannot change the course of science, we can change our emotions to influence the scientific process. The feelings we get which result in turning to excess food for comfort can be eradicated by choice. We can literally choose to do this. We control our emotions, they do not control us. We need to be stronger. - Take eating a cookie or a moderate amount of ice cream for example. In your head you might tell yourself that eating a cookie or ice cream is bad (but you love them). Now that you’re already bad, why not eat 4 cookies, or a whole tub of ice cream? The reality is though, that this particular cookie is 240 calories and this moderate amount of ice cream is 150. What does that mean for your fitness goal? You tell me. But I estimate that it could absolutely fit into your diet, regardless of your goal. - - Eating this cookie/ice cream is one tiny episode in your life. It’s a small part of your overall lifestyle which defines your goal. Your execution of energy balance, nutrients absorbed, bodily function is science. So is the effect of 240 calories or 960. 150 calories or 1000. You literally make these choices. Be objective. - - The principle of the paragraph above can be used for the asparagus too. Consuming a nutrient dense, healthy food will not automatically achieve your fitness goals alone. Don’t fall into a false sense of achievement - you merely ate a food here. What does the big picture look like? - - You can’t change science. But you can change irrational, useless emotions into informed executions of educated, rational choices that help you. This choice may be a whole tub of ice cream, but at least you know that it still fits the plan 🙂😎. - - #foodklicks #bingeeating #losebellyfat  #calories #caloriecounting  #cookies  #icecream  #losefat #fatlosscoach  #fatlosstips  #fatloss  #nutritioncoach #emotionaleating  #eatsmart  #eatwell  #science #caloriedeficit

😄 Foods To Keep You Full⁣ 😄⠀ ⁣⠀ ⚡Follow @foodklicks⚡⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ "I don't know what's wrong with me today, I just can't keep myself fed" - if I've heard this once I've heard it 1 billion times in the office. Typically it's heard less than an hour after someone's eaten a highly processed, low volume snack 🤷🏼⠀ ⁣⠀ Hunger is shitty - nobody enjoys it. It's annoying and distracting - so it can actually impact your productivity too. So what to do? Well, you can just eat more, obviously, but the trouble with that is that your choice of food can ruin your plans. So what to choose? Ideally you'll choose foods that keep you feeling fuller for longer - because the longer you feel full, the less likely you are to want to eat again. ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ Now, with that said. Here's the bit that everyone just tends to ignore because it doesn't fit their narrative - feeling full doesn't mean you won't eat more. How many times have you "found room" for dessert even though you were stuffed from your main course? That's my point - you can feel full and still eat more. ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ So, as well as incorporating these foods into your diet to help you with hunger pangs - always be mindful of not just how you're feeling - but why. Always keep an eye out for boredom eating!⁣ Credits: @ryanc_fit ⠀ ⁣⠀ #weightlosscommunity  #nutritioncoach  #dublinfitfam #corkfitfam  #supplementsthatwork  #irishfitness #alphalete  #sportsnutrition  #caloriedeficit #weightcontrol  #eatingright  #healthytips  #ukfitness #fatlosstips  #flexibleeating  #nutritiontips #naturalweightloss  #weightlosstips  #losefat  #eatsmart at New Delhi

💥TRANSFORMATION TAKES TIME💥 Follow:@foodklicks Transforming your body is NOT an easy task, despite what some “internet fitness gurus” and waist trimmer companies will claim. - In fact, transforming your body takes time. ⏳ - Going from overweight or out-of-shape to “Summer Shredded” isn’t something you accomplish overnight. It takes months, or maybe even years. - But that reality should not discourage you — it should EMPOWER YOU! 🔥 - 👀 Think about it… if you know that it’s going to take 3-12 months to transform your body, then you’re prepared and have realistic expectations you can execute on. - If you believe your body will transform in 3 weeks, then you’re setting yourself up to be discouraged when it doesn’t happen. This is often when people quit. - But, you are NOT most people. 🙌🏼 - You are different. And YOU are capable of transforming your body to look and feel your absolute best. - What you need to do now is put in the work. You need to find a fitness program that works for YOU, not just what looks good on paper. - This probably means… 💥 —> Flexible dieting and tracking macros 💥 —> Strength training 3-5 times per week 💥 —> Doing some cardio when necessary 💥 —> Staying hydrated and getting enough sleep 💥 —> Avoiding ‘quick-fixes’ and *magic* pills/powders - And if you do those things, and make smart adjustments over the course of the next few months, you’ll not only transform your body — you’ll be leaner, stronger and look amazing — but you’ll also transform you life, and you’ll FEEL BETTER than you ever have before. - ❌ Stop trying to be perfect with it all, be consistent instead. ✅ - 📝 What are YOUR current fitness goals? I’d love to hear from you. 🤦🏼‍♂️Spot Reduction! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Nothing could have explained it better. Follow: @foodklicks Everyone wants to lose fat in certain places but keep a bit of fat in certain others - I've posted this one before but still get a lot of questions about losing fat in specific areas. Imagine every person has a puzzle like this one that is totally unique - Fat will be lost and gained very differently, depending on the person. It would be nice to be able to choose where you want to drop fat. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work like that. Some people will lose fat in their stomach first and thighs last. Some other people it will be the opposite. There is NO diet or exercise that's going to make you lose more fat in one place more than another. If you stay in a caloric deficit then your overall body fat will go down and you'll lose it where you want eventually. If you strength train you can build up muscle in the places you want. Genetics will still be a factor in how easy it is to grow a muscle though. Don't compare your fat loss journey with someone else's. You can be doing everything right but might just take a bit longer to lose fat in certain areas than it does for other people. On the other hand, you probably lose it much faster in some places - Don't stress about it. Just stick to your plan and when your overall fat level is down you'll be happy 😁 Have any questions or need any help? Feel free to let me know. Here's the secret to losing the BELLY FAT! ⠀ But first, I have bad news, good news, more bad news, and then good news to finish off 😁 ⠀  Bad news —> you can't directly target belly fat (or any area). ⠀  Good news —> with hard work, you can lose it 💯 ⠀  More bad news —> losing belly fat is gonna take a buttload of time & patience. ⠀  More good news —> you've got time, and with patience & consistency, you’ll no-doubt build a body you’re proud of 💪 ⠀ With that said, here are some tips for getting rid of that pesky belly fat: ⠀ 1️⃣ Create a Sustainable Calorie Deficit ⠀ Once you understand the science of calorie balance, it can be tempting to wanna slash as many of them suckers as possible. If a slight calorie deficit is good, then an extreme deficit is better, right? ⠀  Hold up, Speedy Magee. That might sound nice, but you’ve gotta think further ahead... ⠀  You'll drop weight quickly, but only for so long... ⠀  1-2 weeks? 1-2 months? How long before you crack? ⠀  Because it's not a matter of if, but when you burn out & quit. ⠀  You don't wanna lose fat and gain it back. You wanna lose fat and keep it off forever. ⠀  Keep it sustainable. If you’re losing 5-1% of your body weight per week, you’re doing well! ⠀ 2️⃣ Build Muscle w/ Strength Training ⠀ This'll ensure that most (if not all) of the weight you do lose comes entirely from body fat. ⠀  3️⃣ Be F*ckin’ Patient Cuz This Shit Takes Time ⠀  So stop fussing over every little pound or a pinch of fat. Stop falling for gimmicks & fads... ⠀ Be patient and know that your daily consistency will be worth it 💪 Credits: @cartergood #foodklicks #fat #fattofit #fatlosstips #fatloss #weightlosstip #weightlosstransformation #weightloss #getfit #fitnessmotivation #bellyfat #fitness #fitnessgoals #healthyliving at DLF CyberHub

Healthy but High Calorie Food! Just because a food may be classed as "healthy" doesn't stop it being high in calories 😝 This post will be helpful for 2 types of people! Those who are eating these high calorie foods and didn't know how many calories they had. Therefor making their calorie deficit (dieting phase) difficult or those who struggle to gain weight and need high calorie foods to push them into a calorie surplus. Did you find this helpful? 💪 3 OPTIONS TO LOSE FAT 💥 Follow @foodklicks for fitness and nutrition tips. Of course, there are other options to lose fat. You can do nothing, you can do just strength training or just cardio. You could also get liposuction. You could also order one of those vintage fat jiggling belts if you want. None of those options are covered in this post, however. Hopefully you understand at this point diet is the main driver of fat loss - it should be your main priority to lose fat. It's where you will focus on creating a calorie deficit - the most important factor in fat loss. That being said, if ALL you do is focus on diet and a calorie deficit, you'll find it tough to maintain your fat loss. Moreover, most of you out there who want to lose fat want to do so to feel better about your bodies - and that includes seeing better muscle tone and definition. Diet alone can't achieve those ends for you. A better option is combining diet with a sound strength training regimen. With this option, you'll be able to create a larger deficit through the calories burned in your workouts. What's more important, however, is the aforementioned muscle tone and definition you'll achieve. To boot, the added muscle will increase metabolism and help you maintain your weight loss. The best option lies on the right - combining diet with strength training and a cardio routine. This combination will allow you to create the largest calorie deficit. Adding in cardio will help burn extra calories and improve your cardiovascular health and fitness - which will in turn allow you to workout at a greater intensity in your strength training sessions. Prioritize your diet first, and add in strength training as your 2nd priority. If you have time, definitely consider adding in cardio to burn extra calories. Hope these tips help in your quest to achieve your best body. Tag a friend who could use this informationon. Foods with more vitamin C than an orange! Vitamin C is necessary for the growth, development and repair of body tissues. A recent meta-analysis also showed vitamin C was beneficial to people whose immune system was weakened due to stress. While vitamin C may not be the cure for the common cold, there is good evidence to support that it helps reduce risk of developing complications when you get sick. Vitamin C itself is also a strong antioxidant that can help boost your blood antioxidant levels which in turn can help reduce risk of chronic disease. If that's not motivation enough to get in more Vitamin C, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that those with the highest concentrations of vitamin C in their blood were associated with 42% lower stroke risk. So don't neglect this helpful vitamin and remember supplementation is always a great option too. For more background info, one small orange has 51 .1 mg vitamin C and a medium orange has 69.7mg vitamin C. The minimum requirement for adults is about 75-90mg a day (but studies show up to 500mg a day to be beneficial). This place was one of my favorite places during my college days in Dehradun. In my recent visit got a chance to visit rhis place again. They have moved from small shop under a tree to a proper shop now in 5 years. The taste is still the same. Prices have increased from Rs. 25 per plate to Rs. 50 per plate. Do try this place when in Dehradun. They serve mix fruit chat with crispy potatoes in it which is heavenly.
