Breakfast in Soho last week between meetings the UK Jury Members and the International Jury members of the #NespressoTalents competition.. Our last day in Bandung with @Nespresso ☕️ No farms today, we spent the morning checking out a few coffee spots throughout the city (the above being my favourite). Most of the Kopi (coffee) shops are pretty empty in the mornings, most people here don’t necessarily drink coffee for a morning hit, and have it as something to take time and enjoy in the afternoon. Provenance and knowing where and how the beans are sourced is a huge factor with coffee here and it’s clear to see that same traceability and quality as well as working closely with all farmers is such a vital part of Nespresso. Thanks to the crew for such an eye opening trip.. and to the farmers for your hospitality! 🙏🏼 #NespressoTastemakers #Ad at Contou Coffee

Day two in West Java, Indonesia 🇮🇩 Visiting our second coffee farm, I actually didn’t realise Indonesia is the 4th largest country for coffee production globally. In this region alone, over 100,000 coffee trees have been planted in this region. We spent the day with @Nespresso at another farm which is also part of the AAA Sustainable Quality Program - we planted our own trees, enjoyed more local food (above) and visited the dry mill to see the final process and quality checks of the beans.
