#TeamCanon: 'So folks, for the last time it's @meandmybravefox. Today I want to show you a picture from a totally different region. In the middle of Germany you'll find the well known ''Harzer Schmalspurrbahn''. This old train always reminds me a bit of the Hogwarts Express. It’s a fantastic subject to take pictures of, especially during the winter season. This shot was taken with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L II USM as well. I hope that you liked the my series over the past few days. If you like mountains and outdoor photography, just head over to my Instagram: @meandmybravefox. Thanks again @canonnederland for the chance to show you my work!' #TeamCanon: 'It’s @meandmybravefox again. This time I want to show you the mountain called „Säntis“ in @myswitzerland. The Säntis, with it's peak at 2.505 meters, is the highest mountain of the Alpstein region. I love to hike in this region during the Summer and Autumn. But this January I took a small Cessna Airplane to fly over this mountain to take it to a whole new perspective. This shot was, once again, taken with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L II USM. Two tips for you if you want to take a picture from a small airplane, first: make sure that the lens or your hands don’t touch the body of the airplane to reduce vibrations, second: use a high shutter speed - normally I'd prefer 1/500 sec.' #TeamCanon: 'Hi folks, it’s @meandmybravefox here. I'm an outdoor guy from @bayern. I live very close to the alps and spend most of my time hiking, together with my Canon EOS 6D Mark II. Its a big honor for me to show you some of my shots over the next days. Let's start with an image of one of my favorite mountains - the Aggenstein in Austria. This shot was taken last September. It was a fantastic hike with some fantastic light during the evening. A friend of mine and I spent this night at the mountain cross, just watching the sky and the milky way. The shot was taken with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L II USM II, my standard lens when I'm hiking.' #TeamCanon: 'It’s @pie_aerts with my last post of my trip to Uganda and the use of the EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM. During this journey I carried with me a Canon Extender EF 1.4x III to extend the 500mm focal length of my lens to a mind-blowing 700mm. An amazing little tool to extend your reach and get really close and personal with the wildlife your are photographing. Let’s sum up my previous 3 posts. Shooting for three weeks with this lens changed the way I look at wildlife photography. Although we all know it isn’t the cheapest available option, the performance is one of elite standards. It’s a huge step-up from its previous version and if you ask me, a more convenient alternative for its bulky 600mm brother. When you only shoot for fun, this lens most likely is out of your league, but for professional photographers like myself, it’s an investment. An investment in better images, in educating yourself, in fine-tuning your skills and most importantly, in more fun during your work. Because in the end, that’s what it’s all about for me.' #TeamCanon: 'Hi guys, @pie_aerts here again. Some people argue that the EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM is the luxury sports car in the realm of tele-photography. And they are right! Compared to it's 1999 predecessor, much has changed in the 15 years that went by until the launch of this version in 2013. Carrying a 3+ kilograms lens has never been easy but the lesser weight (600 grams!) combined with the improved Image Stabilization changes lives, I'll tell you that! Especially for ‘handheld’ photographers like myself. Then there’s a new lens coating causing optimal contrast, a brand-new IS-mode and Power Focus (PF), ideal for locking the focus point when filming. The autofocus is 100% accurate and razor sharp, even in the full frame corners and distortion-free with chromatic aberration very well controlled. And there’s 3 different IS modes of which one is particularly amazing for tracking fast animals. And last but not least, the soft and gentle f/4 bokeh. Sigh. A dream.' #LivefortheStory #Nature #Animals Photo credit: @pie_aerts (Canon EOS 5D Mark IV & EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM + Extender EF 1.4x III - 1/250 sec, f/4.0, ISO 160). at Uganda

#TeamCanon: 'Hi guys, @pie_aerts taking over to show you some images I recently shot during a trip through Uganda. Ever since heading out on my first safari in the Okavango Delta in Botswana years ago, I day-dreamed about carrying one of those lenses only the pro’s seemed to use. And after years of hard work, @canonnederland, offered me to bring along one of their EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM lenses. And Hallelujah, from the first minute, a completely new world of possibilities opened up right in front of me. Stay tuned to read more about my experiences.' #LivefortheStory #Nature #Animals Photo credit: @pie_aerts (Canon EOS 5D Mark IV & EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM + Extender EF 1.4x III - 1/400 sec, f/5.6, ISO 200). at Uganda

#TeamCanon: 'As the last part of my take-over I would like to ask you: what are some of the most memorable moments you've ever experienced since you decided to take on photography? And what made them so special? #LivefortheStory I want to thank @CanonNederland again for giving me the opportunity to do this take-over and I hope you've all enjoyed my work.' #Indonesia Photo credit: @alexwhelan (Canon EOS 5D Mark IV & EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM - 1/1000 sec, f/4.5, ISO 400).

#TeamCanon: 'Hi again, it's @alexwhelan with my second post of the series about the flooded area in Jakarta, Indonesia. One of the things that struck me the most was the innocence of the children in the slum. Despite the harsh conditions, all of them had a smile from cheek to cheek while fooling around in the water. We spent a good hour running around and playing with them and they had the time of their life. This is one of the primary reasons why I love street photography so much. The connections you make and the experiences and memories you create are equally as important to me as the quality of the photos I strive to deliver.' #LivefortheStory #Indonesia Photo credit: @alexwhelan (Canon EOS 5D Mark IV & EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM - 1/1600 sec, f/5.6, ISO 250).

#TeamCanon: 'Good day to you, I hope you're all well! My name is Alex Whelan and I was offered the amazing opportunity to do a take-over, for which I'm really grateful. For this take-over I will share a series of the flooded area of the Indonesian favela Kabupaten in Tangerang, Jakarta. While strolling around in the slums of Kabupaten I was doing a series about the people of Indonesia. I noticed this lady, sitting on the edge of a broken wall while she was praying. I approached her and asked if I could take a portrait of her. During that time she told me she was praying for the returning floods to stop. Due to the deprived infrastructure, low sea level and heavy rainfall, landslides and floods occur each year, killing tens, sometimes hundreds of people and leaving thousands of people homeless and in need of rebuilding their slum every year.' #LivefortheStory Photo credit: @alexwhelan (Canon EOS 5D Mark IV & EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM - 1/500 sec, f/4.5, ISO 320).

#CanonTip #LivefortheStory #CanonPhotography #Animals #Wildlife #Nature Photo credit: @haakphotography (Canon EOS 7D Mark II & EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM - 1/200 sec, f/5.6, ISO 1250).
